SIERRAS TO THE PACIFIC

Two friends and I went to the High Sierra outside Sequoia National Forest for some good tidings and panoramas. The fellas mark due south, with the sierra rolling west to California’s central valley.  Enjoy!

BLUE LAKES ROAD

On rare occasion inspiration turns the camera for a self portrait.  These two shots were taken just south of Lake Tahoe, California.  I spent the morning fly fishing on the head waters of the blue lakes river where tributary glaciers in a former epoch carved out this vast meadow.  Today shallow lakes and feeble streams are hidden by the tall grasses and sedges.  Still, a pleasant sight on the eyes.  Enjoy.
