Wood tells time through grain. Photography captures time through light. This experiment with time, light, and wood in the printing process yielded unexpected results - wood prints. The body of work is a collection of winter scapes from the Colorado Rockies and the High Sierra in the heart of winter. Manu was taken in the rainforests of Peru. Each installation is distinct, made with archival ink and different cuts of wood. The wood grain and space between the grain add depth and dimension to the photographs.
